About Me

The three best words to describe me are "passionate, inspirational, compassionate."

I specialize in helping children, adolescents, and families address behavior challenges, emphasizing non-medication approaches and trauma recovery.

I have worked with children, teens, and families in the capacity of leadership development, building self-esteem, and enhancing communication for over 10 years.   I have experience providing direct therapeutic services in hospital, school, and community based settings.  I currently serve as a private practitioner working with a children, adolescents, and families.

In addition to being a skilled therapist, I have presented at National conferences and to general audiences speaking on the topics of the Power of Belonging and Family Matters.

Each of my clients is viewed from a strength-based perspective.  I work collaboratively with clients to explore and process the core of challenges presented in therapy.  My therapeutic style is interactive, encouraging, and supportive.

I am a graduate of Mercer University.  I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor.
