Felice Martin
Felice Martin is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Neuroscience Coach, Certified in Traumatic Stress Studies, Certified in Neurofeedback, and Clinical Trauma Professional. She utilizes brain-based strategies to help parents, children, and teens connect authentically and build relationships rooted in unconditional love and respect—emphasizing non-medication approaches and trauma recovery.
She has worked with children, teens, and families in the capacity of leadership development, building self-esteem, and enhancing communication for over ten years and counting. She has experience providing direct therapeutic services in hospital, school, and community-based settings. Felice Martin currently serves as a private practitioner working with children, adolescents, and families.
In addition to being a skilled therapist, she has presented at National conferences and to general audiences, speaking on topics like the Power of Belonging and Family Matters.
Lakia Chappelle
Lakia Chappelle is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Case Manager. Lakia enjoys working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and groups. She utilizes intentional interventions based on cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, reality therapy, play therapy, and mindfulness to help individuals and families reach optimal wellness. Her treatment specialties focus on trauma, parent-child relationships, stress reduction, anxiety, depression, substance use problems, and adjustment-related issues.
Lakia obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Science in Community Counseling from Columbus State University. Ms. Lakia has years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a psychiatric residential setting, substance abuse facility, group home, in-home, and private practice setting. Lakia is also a nationally certified case manager and ensures that her clients have all physical health and behavioral health care coordination, which assists them with eliminating barriers, achieving their goals, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
During her free time, Lakia enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, meditating, and trying new things. She also currently volunteers with Partnership Against Domestic Violence. Ms. Lakia believes that healthy communication and being your true authentic self is the key to working towards resolving internal and external conflict.
